I am looking for a book from the BESSY library
please enter the extended OPAC search and turn the switch "location" on the left-hand corner to "library room BESSY", maybe add further information about the book to the other windows und start the search.
I want to know who has taken out a book from the library
privacy forbids to make this information public - remember that the OPAC can be searched worldwide. If you need a book which has been taken out we will look up the necessary information and will tell you whether we can call back the book or not.

- ebooks in the catalogue can be found by searching for "ebook" followed by clicking on the title
++ whenever you recommend purchase of a book please indicate the preferred default location of the book, in (a) the reading hall, (b) one of the department libraries or (c) your office. Also state the agreement in case (b) of the administrator of the department library and in case (c) of your supervisor. In case (c) also state the account number (Kostenstelle) which is to be used for the purchase.
