access to e-books at HZB

Starting December 2008, a number of additionally licensed electronic books can be accessed at HZB. These are books which either

• have been requested by our clients but are out of print, or
• are available at HZB in print but always taken out, or
• are candidates for new purchase.

We stick here to a very simple license model which mimicks the purchase of a print book: one-time payment, price tag like for the corresponding print book, ethernal access, no update to new editions. At any time, however, an unlimited numer of readers may have access to the book.
