Our pages are designed as your first stop when you need to look up literature. You may want to start here when you are out for some journal article or a book, when you want to explore the literature about a subject or to order some article that is not available locally.We also inform you on these pages about news about literature, which may be of interest for you. If you want to follow our pages or the news closely and not miss any changes you may consider getting a signal once any page has been updated.

We like to meet you in person too. Please come and see us, and maybe have an impromptu guided tour to our reading hall! You may read journals here that you never thought they even existed. You may surf the intranet on one of our terminals or read Time magazine during your coffee break. There is always something to investigate in a library - if nothing else then how close the canteen is to here!

Finally, we offer a tour of the library semi-annually as part of the HZB continuing education programme. If interested, please contact Ms. Gibhardt at extension 2325 and ask for an English tour.
