Arriving by Airplane

From Berlin-Tegel Airport to Wannsee

  • With the city bus No. 109 or X9 (every 10 minutes); changing at S-Bahn station Charlottenburg to the commuter train S-Bahn S7 to Wannsee Station.

From Wannsee Station take bus 318 direction "Hahn-Meitner-Institut" - end of line.
 
Off-peak, between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. and on weekends you have to join bus 118 direction "Stern Center/Nuthestr." to "Wilhelmplatz" and take a 10min walk. (For travel with heavy luggage, or in the evening and at weekends, we suggest to take a taxi from S-Bahn station Wannsee (~10€).
 
Total duration approximately 60 to 80 minutes.

  • By taxi it takes about 30 to 40 minutes and costs about 35 €.

From Berlin-Schönefeld Airport to Wannsee

  • By commuter train S-Bahn S9 from Berlin-Schönefeld Airport to S-Bahn station "Zoologischer Garten". From there by commuter train S7 to "Wannsee Station" and continue as above.

Total duration approximately 75 to 95 minutes.

  • By taxi it takes about 45 to 50 minutes and costs about 40 €.

Arriving by train

From the main railway station "Hauptbahnhof" to Wannsee

  • The commuter train S-Bahn S7 runs to the Wannsee Station and continue as above.

Total duration approximately 35 to 55 minutes.

Some trains also stop directly at Wannsee Station (see above). It is only a 10 minutes' ride from here to Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin.
