Young Investigator Group for Functional Materials in Solution

In our group "Structure and Dynamics of Functional Materials in Solution we study biochemical systems varying from ions and simple biochemical complexes up to complicated systems like solar cells and proteins in solution. We are using soft X-ray spectroscopies and combine them with traditional spectroscopies like FT-IR and UV-Vis. Currently we are combining fs/ps laser pump with X-ray probe to follow ultrafast dynamics under real conditions.
