Colloidal Physics

This group is devoted to studies on the phase behaviour and dynamics of polymers solutions and colloidal suspensions. Investigations conducted at present include the rheology of suspensions and the spatial structure of polymers and colloids as probed by small-angle neutron scattering and light scattering. This group is responsible for the new ultra-small angle beamline VSANS (V16).

It runs the colloid physics user lab providing additional support for users studying colloidal systems (dynamic and static light scattering, zeta-sizer, analytical centrifugation, …).
