Development Project High Field Magnet

At the Helmholtz Centre Berlin for materials and energy a new high field magnet  High Field Magnet is under construction: internationally unique and with a magnetic field strength of 25 to 30 Tesla, which is about one million times stronger than the earth’s magnetic field and thus the strongest magnet for neutron scattering experiments in the world.
