Research interests
Most of my work is focussed on light metallic materials and the methods to explore their
structure using neutrons and synchrotron X-rays.
Among the materials studied are aluminium alloys, aluminium foams and aluminium-based
glasses, and the most useful methods are 3D imaging (tomography) to study the structure
on the micrometre scale or larger, and small-angle scattering which is useful to
resolve the nanostructure of these materials.
