5th Photovoltaics Thin-Film Week

The only week in the world that is dedicated exclusively to thin-film photovoltaics.
Once again, the Thin-Film Week will be dedicated exclusively to thin-film photovoltaics, combining scientific and technological workshops with a practice-oriented industry forum. The "Photovoltaics Thin-Film Week" is being held as a joint event organized by Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie, PVcomB and Solarpraxis and TU Berlin.
For the first time, the Thin-Film Week will cooperate with the IDTechEx Printed Electronics Europe 2013 event being held in Berlin on 17 -18 April. The co-located PVcomB, Solarpraxis, TU Berlin and IDTechEx Photovoltaics conference track on April 18th will form an additional part of the thin-film week, bringing togther the solar and printed electronics industry in order to discuss the current opportunities and issues of both sectors.
The week includes two key events:
- Thin-Film Workshop (4th International Workshop on CIGS Solar Cell Technology - organized by PVcomB). The workshop consists of invited talks and discussions on present status and future prospects of compound semiconductor technologies. The number of invited participants will be limited to about 100. Activities in the CIGS sector are distributed worldwide and accordingly we invite CIGS-experts from Asia, Europe as well as the USA to participate. Details and registration here.
- Thin-Film Industry Forum (TIF), organized by Solarpraxis. TIF will form a key event that will bring the players of the solar industry together with representatives from politics, the financial world, the press and the industry's suppliers.Details and registration at Solarpraxis.
Full-Package Ticket – Participate at all Thin-Film Week Events
The Full-Package ticket enables you to participate at both events Tuesday through Thursday, including one-day admission to the IDTechEx Printed Electronics Europe 2013 conference on Thursday at ICC. Cost are 900 EUR (before 1 April, from 1 April 1.000 EUR). Please note: due to organizational issues, you will receive two invoices: 450 EUR from HZB/PVcomB (without VAT, from 1 April: 500 EUR) and 450 EUR from Solarpraxis (plus VAT, from 1 April: 500 EUR).
