Many of you have certainly noticed that the area has changed a lot in recent years.

Especially in the last few month some very interesting new restaurants were opened and invite you to a culinary world trip. You can enjoy Korean Bibimbap and Japanese Sushi, Mediterranean Cuisine from Greece and Turkey or American Burgers, Bagels and Sandwiches. Most Restaurants also offer a large selection of vegan and vegetarian meals and provide low-priced lunch menus.

Here you will find an overview of restaurants and bistros which are available nearby (opening hours are displayed).

Please note: If you want to visit the Mensa OASE (Humboldt University) you need a MensaCard, a rechargeable card for cashless payment (obtained at the checkout, 1,55 Euro deposit).

You will also find several supermarkets within walking distance but please keep in mind that supermarkets in Germany are unfortunately closed on Sundays. Kaufland at Rudower Chaussee opens daily from 7 am to 10 pm. Kaufland provides a large selection of groceries, a drugstore and a small food court at the entrance area. Near the train station Adlershof there is an organic supermarket Denn’s Biomarkt (8 am to 9 pm) and just across the river Teltowkanal you will find Lidl (8 am to 9 pm) and Aldi (8 am to 8 pm).

Along the Rudower Chaussee you will also find pharmacies and newspaper shops as well as postal services and ATMs.
