Publishing results
Please supply information on your publications by using the publication tools of GATE.
HZB Co-author
Without the dedicated work of HZB scientists in designing, commissioning, building, maintaining and developing the HZB instruments and experimental stations many experiments could not succeed. For this reason it is highly appriciated if you include your HZB local contact as co-author on your papers.
If your research team is largely self-sufficient and you do not intend to include your local contact as a co-author on publications, you should discuss this during the experiment.
Use of HZB facilities
The use of the HZB facilities and the allocation of beamtime must be properly mentioned in the publication. For example:
In the experimental section of the paper:
“Measurements were carried out at the XX instrument (beamline/station) of Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin.”
and in the acknowlegements
"We thank HZB for the allocation of neutron/synchrotron radiation beamtime"
Acknowledging financial support
Groups from EU member states
In case that your group received financial support by EU money (NMI3 II, NMI3, IHP, IHP II, ELISA, IA-SFS, BioStructX), it is requested by the EC that you acknowledge this support in the publication.
Groups from German universities
In case that your group received financial support by HZB money it is requested that you acknowledge this support in the publication.
Groups from Russia (BESSY II only)
In case that your group received financial support through the Russian German Laboratory (RGL) it is requested that you acknowledge this support in the publication
