BESSY II Operation Schedules & Beamtime Allocation
The BESSY II User Shift schedule is as follows:
Monday is reserved for servicing and commissioning. Starting Tuesday morning, a continuous User Shift block extends until Sunday morning. Dedicated PTB- and Machine Shifts generally follow on Sunday. Information on the activities on Sunday are generally displayed on the BESSY II on-site Infossystem on Wednesday afternoon for the following Sunday.
The general BESSY II operation schedule as well the Beamtime Allocation Schedules for both ID-Beamlines and Dipole Beamlines are found below. Please note that, in general, the two beamlines located on one ID have to agree on the sharing of the available beamtime.
