BESSY II User Office
The BESSY II User Office provides assistance and support in all issues related to the BESSY II user services, from planning an experiment and beamtime application to registration, safety training, accomodation and subsistence.
The user office is located on the 1st floor of the BESSY II main building, Room 3211. The office is open Monday through Friday.
Please note:
New Users are required to check in at the User Office prior to any activity at BESSY II. Users arriving on the weekend or in the evening / night are requested to contact the User Office at least 24 working hours before arrival on site in order to arrange a temporary access to the facility.
In order to assure a smoth check-in please make sure to submit the Application for Badge & Dosimeter Form which is available via the General Access Tool GATE at latest 3 weeks before arrival. Please note that new users have to register with GATE before being able to access the form.
