User Office Photons
The User Office Photons provides assistance and support in all issues related to the use of the HZB User Facilities located at the Wilhelm-Conrad-Röntgen-Campus of HZB in Berlin-Adlershof:
- BESSY II
- MX-Laboratory
Assistance ranges from planning an experiment and beamtime application to registration, safety training, accomodation and subsistence. The user office is located on the 1st floor of the BESSY II main building, Room 3211. The office is regularly open Monday through Friday from 9:00 - 12:00 and 13:00 - 16:00.
In order to assure a smooth check-in please make sure to submit the Application for Badge & Dosimeter Form which is available via the General Access Tool GATE at latest 3 weeks before arrival. Please note that new users have to register with GATE before being able to access the form.
Please note:
Users are required to check in at the User Office Photons prior to any activity at HZB.
Users arriving after working hours (or on the weekend) are requested to contact the User Office Photons 48h before arrival on site (Thursday mornig for weekend arrival) in order to arrange for temporary access to the facility.
