How to get to Helmholtz Centre in Berlin-Adlershof

From Berlin-Tegel Airport to Adlershof

• with the city bus TXL direction: S+U Alexanderplatz (every 10 minutes) to the bus stop "S-Bahnhof Beusselstraße"
• with S41 dircetion: Ringbahn S 41 to the station "S-Bahnhof Ostkreuz"
• changing at "S-Bahnhof Ostkreuz" to the S-Bahn S9 dircection: S Flughafen Berlin-Schönefeld Bhf to the station "S-Bahnhof Adlershof"
• from S-Bahnhof Adlershof you will have a 10 minutes' walk through the railway underpass to the street Rudower Chaussee.
• total duration approximately 90 minutes. For the whole journey you need only one ticket (AB-ticket).

• by taxi it takes about 45 to 120 minutes and costs about 30 to 40 € (depending on volume of traffic).

From Berlin-Schönefeld Airport to Adlershof

• by commuter train S-Bahn S9 direction: S+U Pankow to "S-Bahnhof Adlershof" and continue as above or by bus no. 162 direction: S Adlershof to the bus stop "Magnusstraße" and from there you will have a 200 metre walk to Albert-Einstein-Str.15.

From the railway stations Hauptbahnhof, Friedrichstraße and Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten to Adlershof

• the commuter train S-Bahn S7 direction: S Ahrensfelde Bhf runs to the station "S Ostkreuz"
• there use S9 direction: S Flughafen Berlin-Schönefeld  or S8 direction: S Grünau to the station "S Adlershof"
• from S-Bahnhof Adlershof you will have a 10 minutes' walk through the railway underpass to the street Rudower Chaussee. Total duration approximately 50-60 minutes. Ticket price Berlin AB 2,30 €.

Arrival at the station Bahnhof Lichtenberg

• by commuter train S-Bahn S75 direction: S+U Warschauer Str. or S Spandau Bhf  to the station "S-Bahnhof Ostkreuz"
• there change to commuter train S-Bahn S8 direction: S Grünau or S9 direction: S Flughafen Berlin-Schönefeld to the station "S-Bahnhof Adlershof" and continue as above.

From the station Südkreuz

• S-Bahn S 46 direction: S Königs Wusterhausen Bhf  to "S-Bahnhof Adlershof" and continue as above.
