Virtual meV RIXS Workshop
It is our pleasure to announce the Virtual Use Case Workshop on meV RIXS: Opportunities for Users Science at BESSY II on Wednesday, January 26th, from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Please save the date.
Are low energy excitations in functional materials important to your scientific questions? Then consider investigating those using the little explored EUV and soft-X-ray regions, where the transition metal M-edges, the rare earth element N-edges, but also Silicon L-edges reside. With the currently built up meV RIXS experimental station we bring high resolution RIXS in the EUV and soft X-ray range (30-270 eV range) as a powerful tool to your user proposal. In this use case workshop, first the capabilities are presented followed by inspiring examples from the ongoing commissioning phase. Your participation (online) is highly welcome.
