Application Deadline: December 5^th, 2022.

Notification of Acceptance will be communicated until December 12^th, 2022 by e-mail.

Confirmation by selected participants will be expected within the following 7 days after notification.
If no confirmation is received after 7 days, the place will be offered to another potential participant.

Dates of the HZB Photon School

• Online lectures:  March 27^th - 31^st, 2023.
• Onsite trainings: April 03^rd – April 06^th, 2023. 

Registration / Application Fee:
No registration fee is required for participating at the photon school. Applications of HZB young researchers and guest scientists are welcome. Please note: Applications are accepted only via the online application form available on the school`s website.

Number of Participants:
Our capacity is 30 places for onsite trainings.

Selection process:
The steering committee will select 30 participants for the full program (lectures and hands-on training), and additional participants for lectures only.

HZB covers the costs of:

• Accommodation in shared apartments nearby (HZB coordiates the booking)
• Coffee break and Lunch on April 3^rd and April 6^th. Participants cover of their other meals by themselves.

Financial support for travel costs of participants coming from outside Berlin can be made available upon request and decided individually. Further information in this regards will be sent to the accepted applicants upon confirmation of participation.
