Collaborative effort

Networking is driven by the goal to use (ultrafast) soft x-ray spectroscopy for the investigation of bonding, structure and dynamics in molecular systems in solution. We collaborate with selected groups to address fundamental aspects of bonding in molecular systems and chemical reaction dynamics using the advantages of x-ray spectroscopy. In addition, the particular challenge of characterizing core-excited states in molecular systems studied with soft x-ray spectroscopy requires close collaboration with theory groups.
