Doctoral Program in Data Science
The Helmholtz Association, the Einstein Center Digital Future (ECDF) and the Berlin universities have set up a doctoral training program in Data Science.
The topics for the doctorates are related to the research areas imaging, machine learning, modelling, new hardware concepts, visualization and sequencing. The interdisciplinary topics are supervised by teams of supervisors consisting of two professors, one from the Helmholtz Association and one from the ECDF. Both topics and applicants are subject to an internationally competitive selection process. They submit their doctorates to one of Berlin's universities, which are closely linked to the ECDF through their professors.
