This is a description of bugs found in version 2.4.

These bugs have been corrected in the distribution files
if not otherwise stated.

Modules
-------
Major overhaul of module rotating_field: see html description.

Some minor errors have be corrected for chopper_disc,
chopper_fermi, chop_phases, ma_geom, monochr_analyser, and source.

Tool rvitess
------------
Binary output files could be read with Linux only.
rvitess now reads ASCII output files written with the writeout
module on all platforms, and binary output files produced
on the same platform.

vitess.tcl
----------
Some help texts and option mappings were incorrect.
When stopping simulations on Unix systems the pipe processes
were not stopped in the order of process creation. This resulted
in incomplete text output of modules.
.gui files contained superfluous information.

examples
--------
Some examples were not run with version 2.4.
