Steering Committee
The Steering Committee consists of 8 members (4 Russian and 4 German scientists) delegated by the co-operating institutions: Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin, Freie Universität Berlin, St.-Petersburg State University, Technische Universität Dresden, Technische Universität Freiberg, National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute", Institute of Crystallography of Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS, Moscow) and Ioffe Physical-Technical Institute RAS.
Assignments of the Steering Committee:
- nominates the senior - scientist of the Russian-German Laboratory (RGL);
- coordination of the bilateral scientific collaboration at the RGL;
- evaluates the proposed projects for experiments at the RGL on the basis of their scientific and technical feasibility, and decides on a user schedule for the RGL;
- guidance and determination of the experimental equipment upgrading and users programmes.
