capillary furnace for x-ray absorption spectroscopy invstigations
A regulated hot-air jet is used to heat samples in different quartz-tubes. The gas atmosphere in the tube can be controlled in-situ.

The furnace can host variable sample capillaries from quartz-glas for XAS investigations in transmission and fluorescence mode. The sample temperature can be regulated by a hot air blower up to 700 K. The gas pressure in the sealed quartz or Kapton capillaries can be controlled by connecting them to a suitable gas dosing system.
