Open Port undulator beamline /UE51_PGM-2
It is an open-port soft X-ray beamline equipped with APPLE undulator.
Users can connect their own experimental station to the beamline. The X-ray beam exiting at the end of beamline is not horizontal, but has a tilting angle of 4° upwards. Currently, there are two in-house experimantal stations LiXEdrom and SOL3PES that are compatible with this 4° configuration.
The beamline provides various polarizations of light, including linearly horizontal, linearly vertical, linear 45°, linear 54.7°, and circular/elliptical light. Other polarizations can be generated upon request.
The beamline delivers high flux, mediocre resolution, and <50 micrometer focus.
