At her first Paralympics participation, Felicia Laberer won bronze in Tokyo. For the 20-year-old athlete, this is a dream come true - after hard weeks of training. Support Felicia in her election as Young Sportswoman of the Year and Sportswoman of the Year in Berlin!

It is one of those pictures that will last forever: Felicia Laberer is standing in front of the Sea Forest Waterway in Tokyo, where she is celebrating her greatest sporting success to date. The regatta course of the Olympic and Paralympic Games can be seen in the background. This is where our trainee won a bronze medal in the paracanoe race in the summer of 2021.  

Many employees, friends and supporters kept their fingers crossed for Felicia Laberer in September. Many thanks for that. Now you can continue to support the young athlete:

Ana works in the Director’s Office and is responsible for International Affairs. Silvia is deputy press spokesperson at HZB and is dedicated to internal communication at the centre.

    Felix Büttner has led a junior research group at HZB. Now he has accepted a call to the University of Augsburg. As head of a joint research group, he will continue his studies of magnetic skyrmions at BESSY II.
