Digitally sign documents
With your HZB e-mail certificate, you can also sign documents digitally to ensure authenticity (you signed it) and integrity (the document was not modified afterwards). This applies equally to PDF and Word documents.
The legitimacy of a digital signature - instead of a handwritten signature - must be agreed with your OU management or the persons involved. In the case of legal transactions, the prior approval of the departements A-FR and/or A-PS is required.
The main IT department therefore only provides you with the technical means of a digital signature. The IT is not your contact for any necessary organizational regulations.
