Access from Linux
Access from within the HZB network
From a Linux System you can access Windows Terminal Server desktops and Remote Apps when using Remmina.
Standard issue HZB Linux clients can start the program by executing /net/bin/sas-remmina in their terminal window. The program will automatically load the necessary configurations. You will see a list of all available applications:
The connection to the Terminal Server will be opened when you double click on the application you want to use.
Alternatively you can enter the connection information manually:
- Check if remmina is installed.
- Download the configuration files (ZIP) and unpack them into the .remmina folder within your home directory.
- Start remmina and access the applications you want to use.
