Default partitioning Linux server

Please note that we create all partitions (except the /boot partition) on virtual servers using Logic Volume Management (LVM). This allows the sizes of these partitions to be adjusted dynamically. For example, it would be possible to subsequently increase the size of the file systems. You can choose the sizes of the partitions yourself up to a total size of 100GB. However, the sizes mentioned below are sufficient in our experience for most applications.

Attention: If a system is a virtual system, a reduction of partitions is unfortunately not possible for technical reasons.

If you need a different mount point structure, please choose a different server.
