Welcome to the User Coordination
The Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie HZB operates two large scale research facilities: the upgraded medium flux research reactor BER II on the Lise-Meitner-Campus in Berlin-Wannsee and the third generation synchrotron source BESSY II on the Wilhelm-Conrad-Röntgen-Campus in Berlin-Adlershof. In addition, it is home to a number of state-of-the-art on-site laboratories and user facilities. All those research facilities are designed to serve researchers from universities, foreign research institutions and industry.
The HZB User Office with its two outposts – one on each campus – is the major point of contact for all current or prospective users of the HZB User Facilities. Please do not hesitate to contact us!
The central tool to organize the access to the HZB User Facilities is called the General Access Tool GATE. At the GATE you will find a number of web applications to submit proposals, experimental reports, publications, to request for HZB badges and dosimeters, make reservations in the HZB Guest Houses etc.
The User Coordination of HZB is looking for a
Senior Scientist to head the User Coordination fo Neutron User Access.
