8th International Workshop on Metrology for X-ray Optics, Mirror Design and Fabrication
2nd to 5th September, 2024
The 8th International Workshop on Metrology for X-ray Optics, Mirror Design and Fabrication (IWXM 2024) will be held in Berlin, Germany, from September 2nd-5th, 2024 as a satellite workshop of the Synchrotron Radiation and Instrumentation-SRI conference 2024.
It will provide a forum for presentation and discussion on the latest developments in X-ray optics like mirrors, gratings, reflection zone plates, etc. with particular regard to improvements in metrology, deterministic surface finishing, developments in ML-coatings, simulation of optical systems performance. Contributions from private companies are welcome.
The 5th of September is dedicated to present the achievements and results of the ongoing “LEAPS-INNOV, NeXtgrating”-project on developments for the production of blazed gratings by means of e-beam-lithography.
The workshop will include a series of oral and poster presentations as well as a tour of the BESSY-II synchrotron radiation source.
