Abstract submission and Registration for OPERANDO NANO INTERFACES 2026 is now open. Researchers at all career stages are warmly invited to present their latest research through oral and poster contributions and to join three days of scientific exchange in Berlin.

Abstracts are welcome for oral and poster presentations. Oral presentation slots are limited and will be selected based on scientific quality and fit with the conference programme.

*) The conference fee includes the full scientific programme, coffee breaks, lunches, poster-session refreshments, and the conference dinner. For budgetary reasons, the dinner fee is an integral part of the participation fee and cannot be refunded (regardless of participation in the dinner).

Cancellation Policy

All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing to the organizers. Please send an email to jennifer.bierbaum@helmholtz-berlin.de.

Each case of cancellation will be considered individually. The organizers reserve the right to refuse reimbursement of parts or the total fee depending on the date of cancellation.

In general, cancellations made up to three weeks before the start of the event (before October 26, 2026) may be eligible for a refund minus a processing fee of 50,00 EUR.

Unfortunately, refunds for cancellations received less than three weeks before the event cannot be granted. Thank you for your understanding.

Important Information for HZB staff

Payment of the participation fee for HZB employees will be made by internal transfer. Please enter your Cost Centre (or CO.-Number) in the field provided in the registration form.
