UV-VIS-NIR Cary 5000 @ SCALA

UV-VIS-NIR for Liquids, Powders and Films

The Cary 5000 UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometer is a high-performance instrument designed for measurements across the 175–3300 nm wavelength range, delivering excellent photometric accuracy. Its latest-generation PbSmart detector enhances sensitivity and significantly reduces stray light in the near-infrared region, making it an advanced tool for materials science research. The Cary WinUV software, a modular, Windows-based platform, enables efficient instrument control, advanced data analysis, and seamless integration of optional accessories.

The instrument features a spacious sample compartment that can accommodate large accessories, including integrating spheres for spectral and diffuse reflectance measurements. Its LockDown mechanism allows for fast, precise accessory exchange and positioning, ensuring consistent and reproducible results.
