HHG Quelle und Laser @ Laserlabor
HHG (high harmonic generation) source and laser
The installed laser is a Class 4 laser. The laser contains a femtosecond (fs) Ti:Sa oscillator (Model MTS
Kapteyn - Murnane Laboratories) with a fundamental wavelength of 800nm up to 500mW at 83MHz and
a Ti:Sa amplifier. The amplifier delivers 50fs pulses at 3kHz up to 5W ( 1.7mJ). Moreover, the 2nd and
3rd harmonic (i.e. 400nm and 266nm) are routinely generated for pump-probe measurements.
You can do HHG with different gases like Argon and Xenon.
It is a open port beamline. At the moment there is a gas bottle experiment from Nomi Sorgenfrei.
