Glovebox GS MEGA M-line @ CAT

Glovebox GC MEGA M-Line / Argon

This glovebox allows manipulating and mounting of samples in an inert Argon atmosphere. The samples can be transferred to other instruments with the help of an airtight transfer box. Such a box is available for the transfer to the spectrometer operated at the ISISS, ECCOS@BElChem-PGM, and CAT@EMIL stations operated by the Max-Planck-Society at HZB/BESSY II.

This large glovebox is equipped with 4 gloves to manipulate the samples and 3 antechambers for easy transfer of samples, transfer boxes, and other equipment into and out off the glovebox.

The glovebox is available for non-MPG users but only after the MPG responsible (Dr. Detre Teschner, MSc. Daniel Brennecke) have been contacted before first usage and an introduction to the operation of the glove box was given.

Anwendungsbeispiele:
  • handling of air sensitive sample
  • handling of pre-treated samples where the "as is" state should be studied by spectroscopy
  • short term storage of air sensitive samples
