Democracy under pressure = Science under pressure? Should we, or even must we, take a stand?

We are living in times of increasing social polarisation. Anti-democratic tendencies,  the rejection of scientific expertise, and hostility towards scientists are on the rise. Many of us are asking ourselves: What can I actually do? And what responsibility do research institutions bear? Together with experts from science and science communication, as well as the scientific director of HZB, we would like to discuss these important questions.
