1st BerLUXS Workshop

In summer 2025, HZB and FU-Berlin have established the Berlin Joint Lab for Ultrafast X-ray Slicing (BerLUXS) to provide a solid organizational basis for the long-standing collaboration between HZB and Berlin Universities in the field of Ultrafast Spin Dynamics.
With our 1st BerLUXS Workshop “X-ray Spectroscopy for Ultrafast Magnetism” we want to initiate and inspire new projects and collaborations in our community. The topics will cover new methodologies and experiments on ultrafast magnetism, related to combined high energy- and time-resolution in X-ray spectroscopy. A particular focus will be on the possibilities offered by the new FemtoSlicing-HR beamline branch, dedicated to high energy-resolution XAS and XMCD in the range of the 3d L3,2 and 4f M5,4 resonances, that we are currently setting up.
