ENERGIZE
ENERGIZE is a collaboration between Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB) and the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin (HU). The aim of this project is to operate a beamline with a suitable end-station for materials science in the field of energy research. ENERGIZE will be dedicated to research on hybrid materials and energy efficient technologies.
Currently a 400 l/mm [~33 eV – 830 eV] and a 1200 l/mm [~100 eV – 2000 eV] grating is installed in the monochromator. The optical layout of this dipole beam line can be seen in the figure below:
Our team is responsible for the installation, alignment and first commissioning for this beamline.
