Workshop: “X-ray spectroscopy for ultrafast magnetism”

We are happy to announce the first Workshop hosted by BerLUXS – “X-ray spectroscopy for ultrafast magnetism”, which will take place in Berlin, from 23th-24th of March 2026. A particular focus will be on the possibilities offered by the new FemtoSlicing-HR beamline branch, dedicated to high energy-resolution XAS and XMCD in the range of the 3d L3,2 and 4f M5,4 resonances, that we are currently setting up.

Contract signing between FU and HZB.

 

Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin and Freie University Berlin signed the contract in October 2025 to establish the Joint Lab Ber LUXS on Ultrafast X-ray Slicing, which aim to intensify their further collaboration.
