FEMTOSPEX surface dynamics
Excited states dynamics with x-rays at UE56_1-PGM
The end station FEMTOSPEX Surface Dynamics enables angle- and time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy. The acceptance angle of the spectrometer is max. 60 °. The time resolution is given by the pulse length of the X-ray pulses from Bessy. Femtosecond slicing can be used. The pump laser offers a maximum repetition rate of 6kHz with about 1.2mJ per pulse (800nm). The second harmonic (400nm) can be used without any problems. The use of an OPA is also possible.
