CPMU17_EMIL

Hard x-ray EMIL Beamline

In the storage ring, the CPMU17_EMIL serves as light emitter for the tender X-ray branch of the EMIL facility. It is a cryogenic, in-vacuum undulator CPMU17. A newly developed liquid nitrogen cooled UHV- Double Crystal Monochromator (DCM) is installed for the tender X-rays from 2000 to 10000 eV. Alternatively, a Plane Grating Monochromator (PGM) can be brought into the beam path for using the very intense first harmonic of the CPMU17 in the range from 700 to 1600 eV. Four experimental stations can be served with tender X-rays: SISSY-I, SISSY-II (OAESE), CAT and PINK.
