Abstract:
Design studies for a future multi-tern ERL based light aource at HZB are being investigated. The Fomto-Science-Factory will provide its users with ultra-brigth photons of angstrom wavelength at 6GeV. The FSF is intended to be a multi-user-facility and offer a wide variety of operation modes. A low emittance ~ 0.1 µmrad mode will operate in conjunction with a short-pulse ~ 10 fs mode. This paper reports on the full Start-to-End beam dynamic simulations for both modes.
