15th June 2019, 5 p.m. to 0 a.m., Wannsee site
We open our doors to the Long Night of the Sciences and give you exciting insights into our research. Embark on an exciting journey through modern research with many information stands. Our student laboratory invites children and young people to participate in experiments.
Don’t speak German? Although most of the events are in German, a few events are offered in English, so the Long Night of the Sciences is still worth a visit! Also rest assured that most scientists can converse in English and respond to questions fluently. This is particularly true of events with one-on-one exchange between scientists and visitors (for example, information booths and hands-on experiments). A variety of installations, live experiments, presentations and exhibitions are also enjoyable without any knowledge of German.
Tickets can be purchased from 20th May on at all S-Bahn and BVG ticket machines and points-of-sale and also on eventim.de or the ticket hotline at +49(0)1806/570070 (call charge of 0.20 euros/min from landlines, and max. 0.60 euros/min from mobiles). Additional fees apply when purchasing tickets via CTS Eventim. During the Long Night of the Sciences itself, box offices will be set up in many of the scientific institutions. Venues with box offices are marked with the a €-symbol in the programme.
