Bruker Kappa APEX2 for single crystal analysis (LMC)

The Bruker Kappa-APEX2 single crystal diffractometer is dedicated to single crystal structural analysis. It is equipped with a molybdenum tube and uses monochromatic Mo-Kα radiation. With the Apex2 area detector, a crystal orientation can be performed within 15 minutes. Recording a full data set for single crystal structure analysis takes about 4 hours.

With the APEX-3 software package, a complete single crystal structure analysis can be carried out. The software guides the user step by step through the process, from indexing and cell finding to data reduction and full crystal structural analysis.
